1533 - 1563 domicile of the progenitor family with ownership of the grand house “Caverna” built at the beginning of the 17 th century.
1607 The son of the house receives from the future Kaiser Matthias, the title of earl palatinate (comes palatinus) with coat of arms.
1617 In Prague a document is issued, whereby the nobility family of Antonius Mysanus and his heirs have full authority within all of the Roman Empire to “legitimise all born out of wedlock and prostitutes offspring, adopt sons and daughters, elevate non nobles to nobility, and be allowed to appoint positions to public notaries, writers and judges proven competent and trustworthy”.
1626 The earl palatinate dies in Samedan
1780 The advocate Gaudenz Misani moves to Stuttgart
Until 1786

the house remains in the hands of the family, who in the meantime are called Misani and no longer Mysanus

1786 - 1803 the house Caverna belongs to landaman Andrea Pulin, he later sells the house to the brothers Tester for 3`450 Gulden
1835 Family Giovan Fanconi from Poschiavo purchases the house and starts a wine business
1846 The heirs of Gaudenz Misani apply at the community hall of Samedan for rights of citizenship which is accepted
1959 The house passes into the ownership of family G.Lutzi-Donatz who ran the Caverna as restaurant, and also for many years the hotel Hirschen with much success
1999 The latest change of ownership of the house.
2003 The Palazzo Mysanus is re-opened
